Gainesville, Georgia- The Brenau volleyball team defeated Spartanburg Methodist 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-20) in a non-conference matchup on Thursday.
Sophomore Jomaris Maldonado led the Golden Tigers with 14 kills, while junior Ashlyn Browning added 14 kills and 10 digs. Setter Nathalia Quintero added 36 assists.
Defensively, junior libero Dallas Morse led the squad with 13 digs, while senior Malone Davis added 8 digs.
The Golden Tigers outhit the visiting Pioneers .231-.037 in the match.
Brenau (10-11 overall, 36-9 AAC) next travels to Columbia (SC) College (4-18 overall, 3-12 AAC) on Saturday for an 11 am matchup.
