Magali Bonilla, Soccer

Magali has been stellar as a center back for us in her first year.  In a role/position typically reserved for an experienced veteran, Magali has been one of the keys to our defense this year. Her ability to read the game, anticipate where the ball is going, cut out passes from the opponent and make key ball winning tackles has been critical to the 6 shutouts this year's defense has recorded. Additionally, she has gone unnoticed on the attack as she doesn't garner any stats but is often the player that initiates the attack from our defensive half of the field. Magali is one of the fastest players on the field and often called on to mark some of the opponent's leading goal scorers.
