Michael Clanton Excellence in Athletics Award

The Michael Clanton Excellence in Athletics award is the highest award given by the Brenau University athletic department. The award honors former head athletic trainer, Mike Clanton, who dedicated his effort, time and passion to the Brenau athletic department.

Requirements for the award may include:

• a minimum of a 3.25 grade point average;
• must be a junior or senior with at least two years enrolled at Brenau;
• Brenau community involvement;
• outside community involvement;
• contribution to the team;
