Hulsey Notches First AAC Player of the Week Award

Waleska, Georgia- The Appalachian Athletic Conference named junior Whitney Hulsey as the WinWon AAC Softball Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Hulsey posted a blistering .800 (16/20) batting average on the week, while included an OBP of .818. She notched a ridiculous 22 RBIs in six wins, including 15 runs scored and 6 extra base hits. 

For the season, the Jefferson, Ga. native is ranked among the NAIA's best, including a batting average of .735 with one home run and 26 RBIs. She follows teammate Dayton Power, who won AAC WinWon Player of the Week honors the previous week.
