Gainesville, Georgia- The visiting Montreat College Cavaliers hit a bank three-point shot with 1.2 seconds on the clock to send the game to overtime and eventually defeat the Brenau Golden Tigers 66-60 on Saturday.

In overtime, Madison Phillips hit a layup to open the overtime period and give the Golden Tigers a 57-55 lead, however, Montreat made four free throws late to escape with the win.
"We played very well on both ends of the court," said head coach Kris Stewart. "Our energy was great and we made enough plays to win. Montreat's shot at the end was a tough one, but unfortunately, it still counts. I am very proud of every player on my team for their effort and attitude today."

Arianna Williams led Montreat with 18 points.
