Boyd earns Low Medalist Honors to lead the Golden Tigers at Jeff State Invitational

Jasper, Alabama- Junior Morela Boyd won low medalist honors to lead the Golden Tigers to a solid finish at the Jeff State Ladies Invitational this past week.

Boyd fired a consistent 76-76-152 to outpace runner up Miranda Hernandez from Palm Beach State by two strokes. 

Senior Sasha Baker also had an outstanding showing with an 11th place finish. Baker shot a first-round 82, then improved three strokes in the final round for a two-day total of 161.

The Golden Tigers now take a break until the spring semester.
