Gainesville, Ga.- The Brenau soccer team posted its second consecutive shutout with a 6-0 win over St. Andrews (NC) University in an Appalachian Athletic Conference road match on Wednesday. 

Bridgett Zuniga-Padron and Xiomara Lara each tallied two goals, while freshman Madison Kitson added her third goal of the season to help the Golden Tigers cruise to victory. Lara, the team leader in points (9) assisted on one goal, while Ulissa Negrete and Clara Tzitas also added assists. 

The Brenau defense posted its second consecutive shutout and fourth of the season as keepers Zyara Gonzalez-Galeano and Sarah Cook kept a clean sheet. 

The Golden Tigers also outshot the Knights 19-5 in the match. 

Brenau (4-2 overall, 3-1 AAC) hosts Columbia International (SC) University (3-3 overall, 3-2 AAC) at 5 pm on Saturday at Allen Creek Soccer Complex in Gainesville.
