Swimming Continues Competition at NAIA Nationals

Columbus, Georgia- On day two of the 2019 NAIA Women's Swimming and Diving National Championships, the Brenau Golden Tigers posted three top-twelve finishes in the early stages of competition.

The 400 medley relay team of Lindsay Dowling, Ashlyn Steinbach, Haley Bartoletta and Yanne Toussaint captured seventh place in 3:58.68, while the 200 freestyle relay team of Ashlyn Steinbach, Lindsay Dowling, Bailey Ibarra and Yanne Toussaint earned eleventh place with a time of 1:40.11.

Individually, Yanne Toussaint placed eleventh in the 50 freestyle in 24.50.

Competition will continue on Friday with a full slate of competition starting with preliminary races at 9 am and finals beginning at 5 pm. Live stats can be found here, while live video is available here.
