By Jake Knabel, NAIA Communications & Sports Information Intern

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2012 Women's Tennis All-Americans. Players were selected by the All-America committee. The list of honorees includes 16 student-athletes on each of the first and second teams, plus 22 honorable mentions.

National champion Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) and semifinalist Fresno Pacific (Calif.) tied for the most All-Americans with four apiece. The Warhawks boasted a trio of First Team selections - Ana Veselinovic, Jade Curtis and Tiffany William - to top all schools. Veselinovic and Curtis also took first team honors last season after Auburn Montgomery won the 2011 national title. Veselinovic earned the Marvin P. Richmond Outstanding Player award at the conclusion of Saturday's title match.

Other repeat First Team All-Americans include Azusa Pacific's (Calif.) Natalie McNall, Embry-Riddle's (Fla.) Yi Ching Chen, Fresno Pacific's Marie Boura, Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Trina Slapeka, Oklahoma Christian's Hermon Brhane and Lucie Sipkova and Vanguard's (Calif.) Gabriella Bergmanova and Brenau's (Ga.) Lyn See Choo.
