Gainesville, Georgia- The Brenau tennis team swept Piedmont (Ga.) University 7-0 in an afternoon non-conference matchup on Friday.

In doubles competition, the #1 pairing of Shaloom Delgado and Nadja Noriega-Alcala won 6-3, while the #2 squad of Manuela Giraldo and Anita Bizigato Portes won 6-2. The #3 team of Cady Geddings and Kristina Radovic shutout the visiting Lions with a 6-0 win to earn the point for the Golden Tigers.

The momentum continued into singles competition as all six Golden Tigers won their matches. In #1 singles, Delgado dispatched Lauryn Leslie 6-0, 6-1, while at #2 singles Radovic overwhelmed Brooklyn Bolch 6-1, 6-0. Brenau continued to roll through singles play with wins at #3-#6 to complete the shutout.
