Cross Country Team Volunteers for United Way

Cumming, GA- It wasn't the best of weather conditions, with a torrential downpour, but the race went on last Saturday as the Brenau cross country team under the direction of Coach Susan McIntyre, served as timers for the Run United Forsyth 5K. The race is an annual fundraising effort for the United Way of Forsyth County and all participants complete the 3.1 mile course to help raise money for the different projects of the United Way.The runners who participated in the event were Kelly Young, Shkurte Ejupi, Audra Cochran, Regina Ogechi, Monica Muchene, Fatima Talavera, Lillian Korir and Ashley McCoy. The team will travel to Macon this Saturday to compete in the Mercer Invitational.
